Nice photos sell.
Interior pictures are usually taken for the purpose of renting or selling premises or other commercial activities (e.g. restaurant interiors). Similar to product photos, their main goal is to attract customers. A nice photo sells. Nice pictures of your restaurant´s interior will entice guests to visit more than blurry "cell phone" photos. The same is true for images of apartments and other spaces you want to sell, rent or lure customers into. When photographing interiors, you almost always struggle with getting as much space as possible in the shot, and then with the severe lack of light. So it´s not exactly an easy photographic discipline as it might seem at first glance.
